MIRI: Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel were summoned to Jalan Muria 1 Pujut 2B to destroy a beehive on a tree in a house compound Wednesday.

In a statement, APM said they received a call from a woman, 62, at 10.52am requesting help to remove the hive, and dispatched a five-member team to the house.

“The complainant said she saw the hive while clearing the area under the tree.

“Our team proceeded to destroy the hive, the size of a takraw ball, by spraying it with insecticide,” said the statement.

The operation ended at 12.11pm.
