MMS Education Fair 2023 at Imperial Hotel April 2

Market Management Services Sdn Bhd (MMS) will be holding its MMS Education Fair 2023 on April 2 at Imperial Hotel, Miri.

The event is specially curated for school leavers recently completing Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and for those looking to further their studies.

MMS Education Fair 2023 is set to provide an excellent opportunity for students to meet with representatives from 26 institutions international education institutions.

MMS, a pioneer in education placement since 1981 has helped thousands of students achieve their dream of studying in Malaysia and overseas.

This year’s fair features several Australian universities including Trinity College, University of Melbourne, University of Adelaide, University of Tasmania, University of Technology Sydney, University of Western Australia, Curtin University and JMC Academy.

Australia recently announced post-study work rights extension to current bachelor degree and masters holders with up to five years of Post Study Work Visa. This extension will provide students with valuable work experience.

Australia also offers one of the highest minimum wages per hour in the world, at AUD$21.38 per hour - international students are allowed to work part-time up to 48 hours every two weeks and full time during their holidays.

The education fair will also feature prestigious private Malaysian universities with offers to a range of scholarships and bursaries to eligible students – this includes Curtin University Malaysia, HELP University, RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus, Sunway Le Cordon Bleu, SEGI University, Swinburne University of Technology, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, University of Southampton Malaysia, UOW Malaysia, Han Chiang University College, and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU).

Meanwhile, Yayasan Sarawak’s special B40 Bursary Scheme offers Sarawakian Bumiputera students an Australian degree (at Curtin University Malaysia and Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak) with tuition fees equivalent to public universities (IPTA). This is applicable to all foundation and undergraduate degrees in Business, Engineering, Science, Technology and Arts.

The foundation programme tuition fees range from RM4606 to RM5825.

Among other institutions taking part include University of Auckland from New Zealand, Raffles College of Higher Education, At-Sunrice Globalchef Academy and SIM Global Education from Singapore, and University of West England Bristol (UWE).

UWE offers affordable fees to study in the United Kingdom, whileAt-SunriceGlobalchefoffers a work placement programme for students to work and study at the same time in Singapore, with a minimum allowance of SGD$1000 per month during the apprenticeship.

Registration to MMS Education Fair 2023 is free and students are advised to bring forecast/trial result with their Identity Card for entry assessment, as most universities offer on-the-spot applications.
