KUCHING: A man sustained injuries after the car he was driving was involved in a three-vehicle crash along Jalan Stephen Yong here yesterday afternoon.

According to witnesses, the senior citizen’s car was rearended by a lorry which caused him to crash into the vehicle in front of him.

Rescuers from the Batu Lintang fire station were at the scene to extricate the man from his car.

He was given first aid at the scene before being sent to Sarawak General Hospital for injuries to his right arm and legs.

The other two drivers did not sustain any physical injuries.

Firefighters also flushed the road of debris and oil spill from the accident.
